Isolation, the newest Doom/Death/Blackened band Ruins Of Purgatory album, written between april and december of 2020. The albumv tlaks about some problems of society, like the constant destruction of nature and its resources. It Also talks about (In the song "The Ward Pt.1") the events that happened on the 60's until the 80's in Barbacena, Minas Gerais, where people wer dragged into a psychatric ward that where like a concetrantion camp. The event was called "Brazilian Holocaust" in the book fo the journalist Daniela Arbex. More than 60 thousand people died in this period and most of their bodies were sold to Medical Schools and other institutions. People were treated like piles of garbage without none respect whatsoever. Shock treatments were given as punishments, women were raped and many other atrocities. The last 2 songs of the album talks about mental illness and depression.
